I stayed at Baan Ing Ping for the first night, got there in the early morning but the room is not ready. So the front desk kept our luggages for us also hailed a songtaew for us. The staff is very good at English and very friendly also willing to help.
Transportations
It only takes about 15 mins from the airport to Baan Ing Ping by songtaew, costs 50 Baht/per. (I think this price is quite okay.)
*Also there is a cab counter in the airport that arrange a cab for you to your destinations. (2015/05 fixed price)
price : Small car $120 Baht (1-3 ppls)
Mini van $250 Baht (4 ppls)
Either you are taking bus or train go in or out of Chiangmai, Baan Ing Ping is quite close to the stations. (10 mins to train station, 15 mins to bus station without traffic.)

Rooms : 14 / Deluxe River View Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Superior Rooms, and Standard Rooms.
Facilities: airport transfer(surcharge), bike rental, flat screen TV, water heater, free Wi-fi(working just fine), refrigerator, smoking area, tour, NO elevator.
Internet : free WI-FI in all rooms/public area

The bed is so great and cozy by the way 🙂
They offer towel, shampoo, shower gel, cotton swabs, soap, shower cap in the bathroom(no bathtub).
The hair dryer have to borrow from the front desk.
